Privacy Policy

You can use Cliplyn without an account. Signing in is optional and only needed for daily check-in points and passes.

When you submit a link, it is sent to our extraction service so it can read the video and prepare files.

We set a browser cookie on the download endpoints that ties your tasks to your browser, so another visitor cannot open them. If you sign in, a second cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

To apply the free daily limit, we count video downloads per day. For visitors who are not signed in, the count is stored against a one-way hash of the IP address, not the address itself. Counts are kept by date.

Sign-in is handled by our identity service at id.madeinred.com, which can use your Google account. We receive and store your account ID, email address, and display name, plus your pass expiry date and check-in points.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep an order record with the plan, amount, date, and Stripe session ID.

Prepared files are temporary and are deleted after 1 hour. Your current tab remembers its tasks in session storage, which is cleared when the tab closes.
